The Waymon Garden Restoration

During Carrol Waymon's visit, several discussions centered around the garden that was located next to the house at 30 East Livingston Street. Carrol helped layout the size of the overall garden, located the site of an original peachtree, and provided a valuable list of vegetables that his father, John D. Waymon would always grow. This week the garden restoration began as the area was tilled and prepared for the cabbage, onions, and potatoes that have now been planted.
