EW Birthplace
Safe and sound. The Eunice Waymon Birthplace now sits on fresh sill plates with new rim boards and brick piers with flashing. What a great feeling to know the phase two foundation work is now complete! A very special thanks to Jim Peterman and No Problem Builders in Tryon who made it happen. In the lower right corner of this image you see the end of the make-shift beam that the house was found sitting on when the work began. The NE corner needed to be lifted 7 1/2 inches before the new sill plates, rim boards, and piers could be installed.
