Carrol and Katherine Canady on her front porch after seeing each other for the first time in many years. Katherine had seen Carrol walking on the road below the house and was wondering who it was. When Carrol climbed the steps to the front porch and she recognized who he was -- there was a loud laugh followed by, "Carrroll!" that filled the small hollow. Here Carrol is explaining how long they have known each other while Katherine is visibly still not believing she is really seeing him.
